What is even cooler and what we can't see clearly is that massive gorget on the Schellenbaum Traeger.

          Hi David

          Fantastic photo
I think this is the ultimate Schellenbaum with those little swastika's .

Cool photo! I never noticed the detail of the bell and small swastikas before. I have these two photos of Chamberlin's arrival showing a similar piece, but I am not familiar enough with these Schellenbaums to assume it is the same one at a different time: there is a death's-head banner on mine. How many of these were around?

                  Hi Kevin

Very nice photos , the Schellenbaum on your photos is not the same as the one with the little swastikas , intriging on your photos is the fact that this Schellenbaum has not the part with the sun !

Here is a photo from the Schellenbaum of the Grosse Leipziger Strassenbahn , also with the little swastikas

Here is a photo of the Schellenbaum at the Army Museum in Prague , only has the little swastikas around the bell .

                  Regards , Johan

                              David,

Is it possible that the pic you present in post 10 has been taken in Arolsen?

The building in the back could be everywhere but it reminds me combined with the iron fence on the SS-barracks in Arolsen.

Maybe you know more about that.

                              Very interesting pictures indeed!
