Das Riech flag perhaps??
Surely someone can help with this??? Perhaps a Das Riech battalion headquarters district flag??

It appears to me this could be a divisonal or battalion flag. Also, the city of Trier is not far from the French border and Bastone. The symbol, was used by the Das Reich divison when the "arms" ar flattened and by the Dutch SS when the "arms" are pointed. There was a 76th Panzer Corp, although I would have to research who was defending Trier when Patton rolled in. I could be wrong of course, but I believe this is a very rare item not commonly seen much less owned by someone else. Possibly posted by a divisional headquarters to direct someone.Comment

By the emblem/symbol and photo only, I'd logically think it's supposed to be a Dutch Nazi/Youth group of some type.
Real or fake no comment as I'm a researcher, not a collector
But I would bet big money it has zero to do with "Das Reich" (and I don't gamble).Comment

The DJ was my first thought too, but photo evidence is better.
The same design was used by pre and post war "Scouts" Groups, called Jungenschaften. For sure they had other Symbols and even the Early JP and FDJ Units used this design.Comment
