              Interesting flag, with all the additions a modern version
              of folk art, as enhanced pre-1917 flag code examples
              are called these days. At one time I tried to collect all
              the US flag patterns, but gave up since pre-ACW types
              are almost impossible since the material had to be imported.
              Of all the US flags types, the pre-1902 US Army National
              unit color was the rarest to find. A photo postcard showing
              the M-1895 16th Rgt. flags (130254013776) just sold on eBay
              for ~$78, so even original photos of same can be dear today.
