    Bdm Pennant Numbers ?

    I just picked up a nice BDM Pennant with the numbers 17 on top & 454 under.The pennant is double sided with HJ diamound & the numbers are also chained stitched on both sides.Can any one tell me what location or district this pennant is from? Thanks-sorry have no cameria for pics.

            Bann 30 was located in Saarlauteren. Bann 765 was locatedin Bernkastel.

                              BDM/HJ Pennant

                              Hi Guys,

                              I'm a new member and I've got a BDM or HJ pennant like the ones pictured in this thread. (I confess I'm not sure which.) It's a 21" X 41" triangular pennant in black cotton with the same HJ diamond as in Sparks' posting of 05-2006. The diamond appears on both sides, separately applied, as is the swastika. Unit numbers appear on the upper corner of the hoist edge, which are '7' (over) '394,' and are chain-stitched. There are no snags, punctures, or tears. Some fraying--a quarter inch--at upper hoist edge, but both metal clasps at center and lower edge remain intact, as are the seams. There exists a small white cloth tag (not RZM) sewn into the lower hoist edge which bore ink printing which has long since faded.

                              Any help IDing this unit, location, etc., is greatly appreciated, also an estimate of its value. Thanks for your help!
