The SA-Standarte "Nogat" (14) was located at Danzig. ALL DE's with the photo are from that area.

There are quite some long words, I have to check all the names of DE's I have. It is an enormous list.
There are various with 17, for example Ost-Oberschlesien, but I do not known if the long names were shortened at a DE box.
One of the longest names is Willybald Stromberger. I do not know how it is at a DE.

I used this photo in my book about gorgets also, which was published in Germany in German.

The men are from Standarte 5. At the SA-Treffen from Braunschweig , October 21, 1931 this DE was granted
and then the name was shown at the reverse (later positioned upon front). This occured according to an
order from September 18 1933 (Der Oberste SA-Führer I Nr. 1425/33 II. Ang).

The both secundants do wear the cuffband with German script (Sütterlin); the DE bearer the version with
block-letters. This type of cuffband was granted in 1930. The SA-Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg was in
fact granted the name April 20, 1931. Three versions cuffband do exist: 1) Blockletters; 2) Sütterlin and
          3) Gothic.

The background to the box is black (SS) and not red as for SA. Maybe they gave it the wrong color?

"Nogat" (14) in fact was Tiegenhof, part of brigade 5 at Elbing, to which also belonged Standarte 50 (Marienwerder),
                                148 (Elbing/Westpreussen), 152 (Marienburg/Marienwerder) and Reiterstandarte 5 (Elbing).

Brigade 6 was located also at Danzig and had the numbers 5 (Danzig/first Weichsel, later Danzig-Land was planned),
                                36 (Karthaus Westpreussen), 128 (Danzig-Langfuhr/Danzig), 244 (Gotenhafen) , Reiter 6 (Danzig-Langfuhr/Langfuhr) and
                                further 3 (Konitz/Deutsch-Eylau and planned was Königsberg-Land), 17 (Bromberg), 71 (Nakel/Netze), 21 Thorn (Thorn/Pr. Eylau),
                                12 (Graudenz) and 141 (Strassburg Westpreussen/Kurisches Haff).

The first names mentioned are for the headquarters in 1942. The second names after / in yellow are the name for the box.
