    Ammo identification

    Hi..
    Got this ammo from a friend.
    Could not find any box that look like this on the web..
    What do i realy have? WW2 german?

    Seems to be Czech produced ammo, but in 1940 it would have been produced under German ocupation.

      Yep, the stamping is for Zbrojovka, Brno, keeping the pre-war kind of stamping. Produced on May 1940, and Z for the producer. They later adopted the German style of headstamp.

          Is not czech ammo but slovakian production of CS heavy round Vz.34 ammo made in 5/1940 in plant Povazska Bystrica (PB) of WW Bruenn concern, in 1940 was already independent Slovakian state, delivered under contract for Wehrmacht.b.r.Andy
