    Need help with holster

    A friend just spotted this at an estate sale and asked me to help him ID it.

    Looks like its been sprayed with camo paint. He was a US Marine.

    The shape reminds me of a C96 holster. But i cannot identify this specific type.
    I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
    Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.
