Mp44 magazine pouch: fake or real?

I just saw this pouch. Bml marked with the correct number waffenampt. But this does not bring a warm feeling to the cockles of my heart.

What do you think would be a reasonable price for these? I have piles of mags without pouches so I am interested in buying pouches meant to fool. But I would prefer original pouches.

i agree that these are not original. they do look like the recent reproduction pouches that come aged. they are usually nicely made and ive seen them go for up to $200. not bad to fill the void considering proven originals usually go for thousands.

These ones are at least 20 years old. They are very good copies designed to fool not made for reenactors.

One big red flag for me is the single strand red stripe. 99% of originals I've seen that have a stripe at all, it's 3 strands (seen one or two with single, but seems to be mega rare).

A very real tell.
I would say 4-500 for a set of these nicer repros would be fair.

Most of the striped 40 pouches have single strand red stripes it seems. Almost all StG ones have 3 strand. I recall 2 single strand StG pouches; one with a single red strand, the other a single blue strand.

hell, if anyone wants very nice repros made from correct fabric from the era (possibly original German, not 100% sure) with the correct 3 strand stripes, let me know
