        While not original to my 660 code "40" dated C&R MP40, the pouch displays well and I am very happy with it.

          Another view of the MP40 that the pouch is currently displayed with. This particular MP40 is a WWII vet bring-back by Major Walter F. Dilatush of Millington, TN. Capt. Dilatush was the Executive Officer of the 505th Military Police Battalion and acquired the MP40 in April, 1945. Per his unit's history book, they were processing large numbers of surrendering Germans at that time, so I presume that the MP40 was most likely taken out of a surrendered weapons pile.
