    Can anyone tell me which country used npn or generalkommando?

      Hello Leper and Bruno, I think it read: "GENERALKOMMANDOEN". My estimate is that it is Norwegian since their military used the MP38 and MP40 until the early nineties. Also the Swedish word is different for "General Command".

      Maybe one of the Norwegian Members can shine light on this question. I would also be most interested.

          Not a Norwegian army stamp. Pretty sure it is Danish. Postwar use of the gun doesn't have to imply country, as military libraries would save stuff like this regardless.

            Yeah my guess would be danish too.

            I've seen other manuals with a stamp like this here in denmark.

              Yes, thank you very much for that info. In the past I found some mp40 manuals with Dutch "state archive" stamps as well.
