    Mauser Hsc no maker mark

My friend asked me for help. Why is there no maker mark in your opinion? #135 should be for the army version. Blueing and so on looks untouched since ww2. Thanks in advance.

Just a guess, but perhaps it's a last ditch variation.....Maybe the slide had a defect and wasn't marked....Than later, because they needed parts to make pistols, they put the slide into service....Bodes

It seems that it doesn't have a serial number either.
In addition to bodes theory, this could be a GI assembled gun, made with rejected or stockpiled parts after the war. But it seems to polished for a late war gun - so we can't reject the idea of a post war reblue.

A likely scenario....We know the US GI's assembled G33/40's after the war from leftover parts....I believe these were devoid of serial numbers as well....My only hesitation is how did the pistol wind up in Yugoslavia?....Bodes

The gun is missmatched and regarding its serial number it was made in 1942.
