scarce 1910 side-latch 6.35 pistol

I just picked this pistol up. Not only is it a very tough model to find but this one according to Pender's is the first pattern and there were only 5,000 produced. Early serial # small safety knob barrel, etc. positively id's this as the early pattern. I have also included photos of a later 1910 6.35 pistol for comparison. None of the parts on the side latch fit the 1910 later pistols. Barrel magazine grips, firing pin and more are all unique to the side latch model.

I am beginning to wonder if I have been blackballed from this site. no comments on this pistol At all. I know there're have to be Mauser collectors out There . Would like to get some responses positive or othrerwise.

Jim,
The term side-latch is because on these very early Mauser Mod. 1910 there is a small latch that swivels down on the lower right of the side plate exposing the trigger mechanism. It is visible in the photos. There were actually 3 versions of this model . The one I have is the first of those.
