K98 Scope Advice?

hello, I've picked up this K98 and have been looking at various scopes for it. Any advice from experts would be appreciated. thank you in advance. ~Darius

Do the serial numbers match on this rifle? If they do, I would not mount a scope on it. It would destroy the value. It looks like a really nice rifle.

hi Shawn, yes, they do.. except the bolt, is not numbered; its matched to itself.

..i'm not sure if the zf41 mount can be used with just any scope that doesn't have a mount
