Need help

I bought a Mauser K 98 S/27 from 1937

The safety pin was stuck in fire mode so I disassembled the bolt and put it back together. The safty pin wasn't stuck anymore, i put it back to the fire mode and pulled the trigger. Now the bolt is stuck in the rifle and can't move anymore (you even cant lift it up anymore).

Any tips? There isn't any gunsmith close

i compared it with my gun and it seems like the backside of your bolt is only half way in/out the boltcarier... maybe you can try to cock it again with a plier . just pull it back with the plier .

this worked, put the bolt back like it was, the rifle works gain but the safety switch remains stuck on fire mode. Ah well , I'm happy it works!

maybe you need to strip it now and look inside...

Ill post a picture soon, I know what the problem is, jsut don't know how to fix it.

Perhaps the safety flipping part is worn, so would make it hard to put it back to safety position...

I guess you know you can only put the safety when it is cocked...
