    ppk year of manufacture

    I have this ppk serial number 947796 on right side in line with the grip. No letter prefix and no other serial number on the gun. There is a n over p on the slide and barrel.
    Can someone tell me the approximate year of manufacture?

    Production approx. 1936/37. That should be a Crown over an N on the slide and barrel.
