This seems a Yugo one, can it be removed somehow and replace with a german one since the receiver is german?

One more, can you confirm this is an italian produced Bolt head? or Yugo

FAT is supposed to stand for FABBRICA ARMI TERNI (factory weapons TERNI)

it also has a BK from the yugo but it might have been reused from them being an original italian made bolt for the germans)

                thanks in advance

That´s a postwar part for the MG42 from the Austrian army. The small eagle is a mark from the Austrian army (Bundesheer - BH)

From the markings I would say the head is a postwar Italian product and the rollers are fom Yugoslavia (2 in a square).

The buffer release button is also postwar (MG53) and it can be replaced. It´s only fixed with this pin.

I think it is a postwar replacement stock from the Austrian army built with origin metal parts, only the mother from the long screw is postwar, because the origin ones had the shape of a square.

I just finished reading this post. Can you tell me which screw should be square and not round?
                            My thanks in advance.

Hello. At the third post, when you look into the buttstock you can see a screw nut.
this screw nut has six rough edges.a original MG42 screw nut has only four rough edges like a square.i can not find a picture where you can see it.maybe a member make a pic from his original buttstock.
