    Hello!

    I´m not very comfortable with fire arms so maybe for the specialists a stupid question: What kind of adapter (or whatever it is) did we have here?

    Would be great to get some of your most welcome statements!

    Looks like a sight rail for a rifle with a scope. Thats my guess.

      Gerd,

      that is a reproduction rail for the ZF41 (/1). They are being made on a rather large scale and being sold in Germany for around 30 Euro's.
      These are soldered on the left side of the rear sight of the K98 to make a ZF41 sniper impression. Original ZF41 rear sight rail bases are manufactured out of one piece.
