I just bought a Steyr Mannlicher M95 Stutzen Carbine from Classicarms.com
I paid the $120 for Hungarian model
No Budapest on receiver ring
No St Stephens Crest
Sight ladders schrits are not fully finished but is long
Piece on bolt that safety goes into has R for Hungaria
All other parts have K for Austria
I called them to ask them about it&got told Hungaria is in Austria
For scoping I am thinking using New England Custom Guns scope mounts held with JB WELD
German claw mounts
Front scope mount base
Front ring into
Drilling base into
Saddle base
Offset to left to allow loading embloc clips
Rear scope base
Mannlicher Schoenauer base&rings
Offset to left
or
Using a Zelvier,Dialyst,something similiar
I just don't know about rifle,number codes,stampings,or scoping.
