    Nice to see. Just goes to show how far waiting for 21 minutes for police help got her. The individual can only rely on themselves for protection and it is great that this lowlife has been reduced.

        But I am sorry that she has to deal with all of this, after her husband died on Christmas day.

            Indeed. That guy was just asking for it. Scumbags that do that when someone has just lost a loved one has no sense of love or life. Some can be saved, others are lost causes, unfortunately. Just glad she was able to do it. Many don't even want to pull the trigger.

                The nice thing about taking out an intruder with a 12 gauge shotgun? You don't have to worry about being sued by someone who recovers from their wounds.

                  That is so true. I have a lot of friends on force and one thing that they all told me when you shoot them make sure they are dead. Shoot to kill.
                  Because when it comes between you and them they will not be thinking two seconds before they would kill you.

                          I prefer my Colt .45acp for home defense. The 12 gauge 00 buckshot almost always makes such a mess and drywallers are so expensive nowadays.

                            Same laws in Belgium as Netherlands.
                            If you shoot some intruder, he has to have at least killed the rest of your family to call it self defense. And his family will stage a memorial protest with plenty of people and the protest is authorized by the local authorities...
