    FG 42 or MG42 sling LBA

    What is this? FG42 or an MG42 sling?The metal D ring is not on a Mg42 sling.Iwant to sell it!Thanks

      The FG42 sling is not split, but constructed like a K98 sling (exept for the metal fittings).

      Part of the markings at your MG sling look fake...

        The FG42 sling looks like K98k sling with an MG34 carabiner front buckle and a Gew 98 gripp buckle. Your's looks post war because the carabiner buckle is 'open' kind. I guess the stamps are fake, as Patrick has said.

          looks like a possible post war made sling (military issue) , pick a country..., with Possible fake markings. I do say possible fake.
          this style sling for mg-34 or 42 , depending if the clip fits which pistol grip.
          early 34 sling clips are to narrow to fit the mg42.
          can not recall the l.b.a. marking.
