                      I know that the sling and clips are post war but what about the rest and the value of this M-1 carbine,thanks for any and all help.

                        Nice postwar rebuild with bayonet lug, adjustable rear sight and flip safety. I'd say depending on the condition of the rifling it's an $7-800 rifle

                            In my part of the country a Carbine in that condition would average $500/550 with a standard GI 15 round magazine.

                                That looks like one of the Davidson imports with the serial numbered stock. A really nice import might bring $600/650 around here.
