          Hello all,

If I buy this setup would it be OK to use some saddle-soap and mink oil on the holster?

I wouldn't use either. I have some Model 1907 slings treated with mink oil about 30 years ago, and they still form a white haze on them. It wipes off, but still don't like it.

Glad you got it! Even if you paid his full asking price it is definately a keeper. The condition of that holster is nice too. The holster is made in 1943 by J.J. Schlayer A.G. Lederfabrik in Reutlingen (Württenberg). I recently sold a rig like this, only in the "a" block with wooden grips for more than you paid for this. Good goin'

Oops! A typo.... Württenberg should be Württemberg. I hate it when that happens!
