The "Hebel" flare pistol with Czch army acceptance marking is not WW I. This pistols were made in Kosmonosy (Cosmanos), Czech republic in twenties. The factory belongs to the Pozemkova Banka (Real Estate Bank), then PB.

One of my favourites is the tiny Flare gun "JGA"....really well manufactured, with metal grips, and not often seen. Not a flare gun really, but listed as a flare gun...Comment

Both czechoslovak pistols are army proofed, the Hebel is marked with depot acceptance of czechoslovak army. The tgf is postwar copy of russian M44 pistol.Comment

I am surprised nobody seems to take notice of the brass yugoslavian M29 flare gun. This is one very very rare item. The gun doesn´t look spectacular, but in fact is quite special.
If you have some nice flare guns as well, please keep posting. Would be interesting to see different guns and variants!Comment

Actually I was interested in it. I have two different steel versions, and would like a brass, but I have seen a few turn up recently and was unsure whether or not they are being imported in quantity.
I got burned on paying too much for the, in the past, Rare Rumanian WWII era flare pistols, which have turned up in the states in large quantities. I would be willing to trade for one of the brass Yugo's.Comment

Hi, I have seen that one on gunbroker and joe salter (is the same). I am very very sure that there will not be some more showing up. This is, as far as I know, only the third one known. The one I have has been in possesion of one man (a friend of mine) since the end of the war. Not imported, not bought. I nkow the history of this gun very well. Tough one to find is the steel versions of the german heer type you have 3 of made from aluminum. Do you have any of the bakelite multiple flare cases that hold something like 3 or 4 flares.?Comment

Hello, I have 9 of the long barrel steel Heers, and ~ 23 + short barrel versions, and even one Kampfpistole in steel.
I believe the bakelite "flare" containers you are talking about are actually for German fuses. This comes up quite often on forums.
The Bakelite flare containers for flares hold 6 flares, and are somewhat cylindrical.
