Awhile back I acquired a bunch of stuff out of the woodwork part of which is pictured below:


Among these items was this mysterous case which several fellow collectors we unable to identify:


Well I've now identified it:

I want that snail drum! when do I get to find a collection like this?!

I work at digging items such as this out of the woodwork virtually 24/7. It's a real challenge but I really enjoy the chase. Please note that this snail drum pictured was one of 3 I got in this haul.
This is frustrating at times and always hard work but the rewards can be impressive.
