A very nice and desirable rig you have there! It's always nice to see something with a family history. I'm glad to see you're not a Canadian resident as the pistol, from what I understand, would have to be deactivated if you resided there. You might want to post that helmet over on the helmet forum.

No details, as a number of captured items were in among the many items of his long military career.
Will post more information on the contents of his war-time field chest, in which he stored a great many mementos, as time permits.

Just to clarify, in Canada, not every Luger has to be deactivated if you have the appropriate classification on your firearms licence. I own several fully functional and all matching P08 pistols.
