    MG34 pics

    Hi guys,

I have another thread running requesting info on a rare (only 1000 made) MG34. I thought I would post pics of the said gun, the gun is an old spec deact, all matching and near mint. I don't think I'll be keeping it as I already have one and I'm still looking for an MP40.

                      Hello

This MG34 is for portugal. Denomination type is Metralhadora M/944
It's the number 323 of the lot of 1000 MG34 sold to portugal late in the war.
Normaly the marking is "dot 1943", indicating manufacture by waffenwerke Brünn AG.
Note at left side of pistol grip the letters "T" for "tiro a tiro" and "A" for "tiro automatico".
                      It's a nice machine gun.
                      Tankgewehr

Wow, that's just a few digits off of a live MG34 I own. Odd thing is, my live gun isn't a Portugese export gun.

                            Small world.
