    panzerfaust drill round

Was there a drill round for the panzerfaust ever produced.

i bought what appeared to be a practice round, very well manufactured with solid wood head with steel bands, sight and clip to fix it to the finned cup.

finned cup well manufactured also with spring steel fins

only problem is that it doesn't fit in my panzerfaust tube

maybe it shouldn't so it doesn't get confused with a live round

    cheers

    Philip,

Yes there was a training "warhead" in wood.
It was used with a used Pzf tube . These tubes were marked EX (exercise)in red.

    Can you post a picture?

    Info from Deutsche Nahkampfmittel

The tube differs from the regular Panzerfaust - I once owned one with original paint. The firing device was also different.
