Hello everyone/ I ;m sorta new here but I;ve been reading the forums and see that theres a lot of people out there that know a lot about small German hand guns. I have a Walther PPk sn#775xxx in 7.65 and a PP 22 cal, with the matching leather. Both of these pistols are in the box and are early prewar. The ppk has everything in the box, test shells, cleaning rod and brush and a small can of oil. My question is ,since the ppk was made in 1933 and has 2 flat Walther marked magazines, could it be they did not start adding the finger rest mag until later on production? I bought a post war mag and when I insert it into the weapon or just lay it in the box, the box will not close. Thats why I,m thinking they did not furnish one from the factory. I don,t know thats why I,m asking you guys. The ppk is like 99% condition and I would like to make the rig correct, but Walther USA, and you know who I,m talking about wants 200 dollars just for the plastic rest, a complete mag is 300. I,m not going to pay such prices. Anyway I enjoy the forum a lot and give Mr.Bianchi credit for such a good site.Hope to hear from you guys and thank you. Regards Danny
