    Czech CZ52 Semi-Auto rifle

its strange when i look at the czech cz52 rifle, it has a very close resemblance to the german G43 ,obviously apart from the folding bayonet, was the cz52 in anyway copied from the g43?, i know the czech produced the scopes for the g43,did they make the g43 aswell? do you think they made the cz52 rifle that they copied from, or based on, does the cz52 rifle have the same bolt etc as used on the g43?

I think that czech cz52 rifle is copy from russian SKS or swedish AG42.

No! G43 is "another animal" and Ljungman too. Russian SKS has another locking system (CZ 52 has two lugs beside the breech), another gas port , another gas rod (CZ has coaxial to the barrel) , another trigger/hammersystem.

The only "stolen" part of the CZ vzor 52 is trigger/hammer housing: from M1 Garand...

Gas pushing tube on VZ 52 has only short stroke and is not connected with the locking bolt career. In eyes of the patent law is it another principle. The gas pushing tube on MKB42(W) IS a part of locking bolt career. But I can imagine you see it as the same.
