Unmarked pistol - help to identify

Ok..typical newbie..first post asks for help..where do we come from?

Recently acquired this pistol and can find no marks other than wooden grips with initials, matching serial and eagle holding swastika. Nothing under grip panels, nothing on magazine, nothing on barrel or inside. Great mystery. No caliber marks (assume 32)..nothing.

Anyone recognize this model? Looks like blood rot on starboard side..

Thanks in advance for your help.

At first glance at your tiny pics, I thought it was a Dreyse Model 1907 pistol.

Blowing up your tiny pics, I can see it is not - but the shape is very similar.

I would post bigger pics at http://luger.gunboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38
    for an identification.

    Good luck

Its not a Steyr-Pieper or a Langenham, I don't have a clue to what it is.

Hopefully someone with a clue can identify it.

            Hi XLIV,

what you have is an Armand Gavage. See here:

I took one last look and realized that it was a GA/AG not a CA or AC.

You found an Armand Gavage. The Belgian design of the late 1930s from the Clement I believe was continued in production by the Nazis and used as a very secondary arm for backwater troops according to Whittington. It bears the Heer test proof, but no WaA. It is 7.65mm Browning caliber. Looks like the serial number is 3027?

                  Ah hell, Sauerfan wins.

and it looks like you hit the jackpot too.

                  Congrats.

Martin is too quick on the key board.

Hey 44, try to shrink your jpeg files next time so the posting screen doesn't continue forever. The test eagle is fine. I shot my first one a long time ago. Only a couple of shots as I quickly lost courage.
