    Signalpatrone, question.

    Hello all!

I have a question concerning Signalpatronen. I have three different sizes (see pics), 26,5mm x 80mm, x 114mm and x 132mm. The shortest one is marked "Signalpatrone E rot" and maker "ldc 10 44". I have found some info on this type on the web. The mid sized is made from brass and only stamped "1938" in the base. The tallest one is marked "Pfelfpatrone" and maker "hts 5 44". If anyone could bring me some information on these, I would be very grateful!

    Thanks /Al

    Hello Stargaard,
    Your signal cartridges are
    1) german single star red. The letter "E" indicates "Einzelstern" (single star). "ldc" is the manufacturer "Depyfag/Cleebronn".
    2) this is a czech cartridge case, the manufacturer is "JC", that means "Jan Czermak".
    3) Cartridge for gas- alert. "Pfeifpatrone" means "whistle cartridge". The manufacturer is "hts", "Fritz Sauer / Augsburg".

    best regards
    Horst
