It looks really nice. A little roughness on the top of the breech block and some slight darkening on the right side, but in total it is IMO above average.

What is that in the left toggle knob hole? Is there another one in the right side hole?

Nice Luger! I like the worn Lugers more than a mint one personally.

Quite possibly the most recognizable pistol on the planet! Good looking piece, thanks for sharing.

What is that deal inside the toggle knob?

Funny how the obvious details escape you (or at least me), took a look tonight, they are some kind of ferrule or round spacer someone put in there for God only knows what reason, looks pretty easy to pull out, they are serving no real purpose....

I was happy to get this, gun show find, along with a CZ27 FNH from the same table. That's the great thing about Alaska gunshows, you never know what is going to show up. Chris....

I am no expert, but have owned and handled many Lugers-never seen this.

Wonder if there is a problem/issue with the axle/connecting pin there.

I would sure get a knowledgible person to review this.
There should be a tiny vertical pin going down from the top about where this thing is. It holds the axle or connector pin in.
                    Some kinda mod going on.
                    Nice looking pistol.
