what do you know oh this MP40 with stamp "MP40 COS 40"



i know 122, 27,660 but "cos" ???????
"cos" is a subcontracor normally, it have the WaA44 waffenamt code
but it is a first modell and it is may be a prototype of "cos" metal sheet

I have seen an MP40 that COS is marked larger and above fxo, but I have never seen one with just COS. COS did make alot of parts for Haenel and I have not seen an fxo or 122 that is dated 1940. So this is most likely one of Haenel's first MP40s. I know they were still making the MP38 in 1940.
