        Great old rifle, Bill.

You are right, if they could only talk.

This one would have to be TRI-lingual.

Thanks Bill. It is truely a traveler! Weren't these also issued to the US troops in Siberia at the close of the First War? I believe one of the units was the 27th Inf. "Wolfhounds"

And along with many State Guard units as well. There are many great pictures of the Wisconsin State Guard armed with them while the state's national guard units were in France during WWI.
This is one rifle I've always wanted an example of for some reason. I really like the way it looks plus what an amazing history!

Nice one Bill. I want a Westinghouse also. I like the guns made by what are considered non gun companies.

Here is a Remington Josh. Ths one is Finnish capture.

                            Sweet!!!

I kinda wish that I was around back when these were super cheap. I wouldnt mind having an example of either of them. Which is more desirable? The remingtons or the westinghouses? If I get the mosin bug, then I want to get one of the US made 91s.

Bill, do you have any of the french mosins?

                              Hi Josh
I don't know which is worth the most but I bought mine at a gun show in NC for $75 about a year and a half ago. You were around then. These military bolt guns are bargins for what they will be in 8-10 years. Swiss K31s for $79 a few years a ago. RC Mausers were $100. Yugo K98s for $79. Prices are going up fast but these are the good old days for military bolt guns. I bought a Finnish M27 FOR $95 about 2 years ago from a big gun shop. They had 2 and I still kick myself for not buying both of them. It is one of the best shooting military bolt guns I have fired. I was very surprised.
