Yes the gun is original and unless you have registered it as a De-wat it isn't legal either. The reciever, and trunion specifically is the issue, not the barrel. A 4yr old can replace that barrel in about 5 minutes. I would register it (if your state allows De-wats) or get rid of it asap. The BATF considers that a live MG even if you don't. Interordnance had legal issues with the BATF (and subsequently so did their customers, myself included) because their kits were not deactivated properly. Just be careful.
