    can anyone tell me about the last ditch rifles of Germany. Can you post pictures. I mean last ditch like the VK98

    You need to pick up a copy of Darren Weaver's new book. "Desperate Measures". It should be easy to find. It is a study of the German VG rifles.

      here is a early stocked VK98 from my collection..Notice the crudeness of the weapon and the 'V' on the BBl.. Enjoy BILL PS Toten BY the book that RBlue told you about...BILL

                Bill,
                Dad-Gum Bud..... If I didn't know better, I'd say that old smoke pole had been bubbized. Stock cut off. Front sight spot welded on. -- But I know you wouldn't have anything like that in your house.. Most, Most interesting.

                    No I think that is how it was made, The welded on sights i mean if you were Hitler at the end of the war wouldnt you want guns made faster and cheaper and a larger amount.
                    Hey Bill how much did that cost you. What is the V-G1. Did they have any last ditch pistols. Thank you guys.
