    mg42 information

    hi.
    i was able to get a mg42
this mg was left after ww2 in holland.
the dutch army used this mg till the seventy,s for practice and examing.
they deact it at a ruff way.
the mg has several waA markings, but there are imo a lot of other parts not original.
the mg has a mg3 aa sight if i,am correct.
the gripps and butt are not original i think.
otherwise i will use this mg for display and they are not easy to obtain in holland.
is there anyone who knows what the right marking means.
    thanks

I have some old West German army and navy things from the late 50s that have an ink stamp resembling thing with the 84 on it. Is it possible that your gun could have been sent to your country from West Germany?
