help buying luger

what is the law about owing a deacivated gun here in northern ireland, have seen a nice luger for sale in england! and was wondering can the seller post it over to here ok with no probs? i know you dont need a license in england! any help anyone??

You should be OK buy from England but no where else. You really need to go to your local Police station to be 100% certain on this. They will put you right.

I know that rules have changed recently to allow people in Northern Ireland to own deacts.
