Gelandewinkel-Telescopic site for a MG34/42

Here are some pictures of a sight for an MG34 or MG42.
I have someone offering one to me but he doesn't know what it is worth and other than some outlandish prices that I found in a SEARCH, I don't either.
Does anyone have an honest idea of what a fair price would be to him and to me???

several parts are missing, including screws, the rubber eyepiece, and it seems to have been tampered with in various places, etc. etc. I don't wish it had been used to complete another one.
You have to see the internal mechanisms and if everything works, and even if the internal reticle is present!
