One of my gun clubs (Thurmont Conservation & Sportsman's Club) is hosting one of their quarterly matches this coming Saturday, the 7th. Open to the public and always seeking folks to come out and shoot.

I shoot a '44 dated Sako M39 for the first part, and generally shoot a Mauser 71/84 (sometimes either a Wehrmannsgewehr or Gewehr 88 instead). It's a fun match and a fun day, as we hang out afterwards and light the grill....cigars and adult beverages are welcome once the rifles are secured.
Again, open to the public to bring their own rifles and participate. Course of fire and rules are on the link above.
Another club also hosts Milsurp matches, with the 2nd half being .22 military trainers.
