    Heer dagger by Christianswerk

As Heer daggers are not my speciality, I would like to get the opinions of the Heer collectors on this dagger by Christianswerk, before I offer it for sale.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

    Victorman

Dagger pommel is Carl Eickhorn product, ferrule is generic type A, crossguard is Eickhorn type 4. Scabbard is generic type A, with Christianswerk Solingen blade is part dagger or Frankenstein.

Although not an expert on Armys as some of our brothers are, I would agree that the crossguard is an Eickhorn product. The last Christianswerk I saw had an early Pack guard.

If is late Christianswerk Solingen dagger it is generic type A.
Or B type if dagger was made in mid period.

Sorry, Schlange, but the past has learned us that your opinions on daggers have no value at all.
I did not ask just to look it up in the local database... that I can do myself...

I was hoping for opinions by the real Heer dagger collectors here (not from someone with just 1 or 2 daggers in his collection).

Christianswerk was a very small producer (not only of Heer daggers by the way) and bought some of his parts from Eickhorn, that I already knew ... so that is fine.

                - But I have never seen this maker mark in this orientation on an Heer blade...

                - Also, the horseshoe hanger, is that correct with a later dagger?

                - Any other observations?

                Best regards,

                Victorman

Can someone please silence this forum-troll called "Schlange"? The poor fellow has no clue what he is talking about...

And he is bringing the level of this forum sooooo very low...

No wonder that the real specialists are less and less active here...

I am not even offering this Heer dagger for sale: I first need approval of the REAL experts...

The request for the Army expert opinions has gone out. A little patience please.
