    Luftwaffe General's Degen

I'm unable to upload attachments for some reason, so these images are the best I can do. Does it have any chance?

Sorry, difficult to see with the small photos of the inscription posted.
Still looks to be the same sword, with a different inscription though.

Sorry, I'm having problems uploading larger photos due to file size constraints. I agree that it looks to be a similarly-manufactured sword to the one you're posting. I'm quite confident that this sword is a repro, but the individual attempting to sell me on it isn't listening.

                Larger photo?

A different sword to the one posted a day or so ago by Anders L, but I would transfer my same comments to this sword. It doesn't stand up in quality and varies in detail in a comparison with the General Dahlmann sword. So in my opinion another post WW2 replica.

Agreed. There are blatant issues at play here - that’s a first-model blade inscription with an Eickhorn mark only found on second-model swords, with a second-model handle. The scabbard is also not originally from this sword. That’s in addition to the shoddy workmanship others have already highlighted in this thread. Unfortunately the person attempting to push this sword on me is ignoring all of these points and insisting that it’s authentic.

You are no doubt referring to the "Reichminister for Air travel" inscription which must predate the official birth of the Luftwaffe in February 1935. However I have seen an Eickhorn 2nd pattern Generals sword that I believe was authentic, that did have that inscription, rather than the more usually seen "Der Oberbefehlshaber de Luftwaffe". In that case it must have been presented early 1935 as it had the mid to late 1930's trademark. The Dahlmann sword dates from 1941, and by the way is on the market.

The Dahlmann sword is currently for sale through Lakeside Trader and has the "Oberbefehlshaber" inscription - not "Reichsminister" - with the uncircled Eickhorn logo.

All books I've consulted, as well as forum commentary, reinforces the first/second pattern logo/inscription discrepancy:
