You are no doubt referring to the "Reichminister for Air travel" inscription which must predate the official birth of the Luftwaffe in February 1935. However I have seen an Eickhorn 2nd pattern Generals sword that I believe was authentic, that did have that inscription, rather than the more usually seen "Der Oberbefehlshaber de Luftwaffe". In that case it must have been presented early 1935 as it had the mid to late 1930's trademark. The Dahlmann sword dates from 1941, and by the way is on the market.

All books I've consulted, as well as forum commentary, reinforces the first/second pattern logo/inscription discrepancy:
