    Dress items have never been my thing.. I picked up this sword today with some other stuff.. I assume that it is a nco sword with eagle swastika langet?????????? Thanks for the help BILL

        Hi,

        Your sword looks to be Eickhorn pattern Nr. 189, with the additional feature of the engraved Wehrmacht eagle and swastika.

        Originally it would have been gold plated, but it all appears to have worn off.

        It is described in the Eickhorn Kundendienst sales catalogue (1938 edition) as a Mannschaftsabel - priced at 10.50 Reichsmarks for the standard, plain pattern; and 11.00 RM for the version with the engraved eagle on the langet.
