2nd model LW dagger; help please.

    Hello again,

I have the chance to purchase this dagger with hangers for $375. The blade is unmarked. I didn't take the pictures but did my best to make them useable. One arm of the swas on the pommel is slightly dented; there are two chips on the grip, one against the grip and the other against the pommel; one of the buckles on the hanger is missing its pin. I have to confess that I like the looks of this dagger despite its faults. Is it a mistake to pay $375 for this one considering it is unmarked and has these problems?

    Thanks again,

    Harvey

If it were me, I'd kick in a little more and find one with less problems. While there's nothing really big wrong, it just has too many small issues.

It depends on what you want out of it. If you are looking for a good starter piece to compliment your collection and nothing more, then it is OK. If you are serious about collecting daggers, spend the extra $100 or so for a nice one.

It really depends on your financial situation. If you can afford it, follow Larry's advice. If not, it looks like an ok piece for the money.
