    Please help - 3 daggers WH , KM , LW ..

Am I correct to think that those half-circles / " fingerprints " on the scabbard indicate a reproduction ? I will take a magnet with me , but so far , these pictures are all I have .
Any other red flags ? All help appreciated .. !

KM is an M29 (first model) and has the correct earlier Eickhorn M29 style crossguard and the correct 1938 replacement pommel which replaced the original ball pommel to update this dagger from an M29 to an M38. Scabbard overall looks ok but the chape at the very bottom looks unusual, looks like its possibly coming out and needs pushed back in, has the correct thick girth rings and dome head screws for Eickhorn. Better photos would have helped, especially of the blade and maker mark, would normally expect to see the double oval maker mark with these early updated M29s with rope band scabbards. Does it have a release button as the blade is the wrong way around if it does. Overal I think its ok. Not sure about any of the portapees you show though.

          Best Russ.

The cord on the Luft portepee does not look correct & is probably a postwar replacement.

Thank you both , especially the detailed description of the KM dagger was very helpful .. !
Now at least I have a reason to go check them out - no immediate red flags on the Luftwaffe .. ?
