Original Luftwaffe dagger 1. model, produced by WKC Solingen. Unfortunately all metal parts are cleaned, and leather parts are coated with shue wax.

Yup, it was cleaned. He didn't do anything to the leather but guess the metal parts were dark green and eating away the metal. He did it before he showed it to me.

These type of metal does not oxidize in a classical iron/steel "sense".
After creating a black-and-green patina oxidation stops, and the metal parts remain intact.
