    Possible Nazi Pocket Knife

I am interested in finding the value of a two-bladed German pocket knife. Brass in color; one side has an image of Adolf Hitler; the other side is very ornate, with an eagle topped wreath surrounding a swastika (all above the words "Deutschland Erwacht). The larger of the two blades is stamped with Soligen Germany. Any ideas on authenticity and value? If you have any questions or comments I would love to hear them.

See a picture of the knife here... http://www.angelfire.com/stars5/wwiiknife/pics/

    Hi,
these are supposed to be made from original dies but are made postwar. If sold as repros, they sell for about $10.

I have one too, I got it as a kid. Not WWII, but interesting, if the "original dies" theory is true. There is a reference to these (regarding the original dies issue) in Robin Lumsden's "Dtecting he Fakes", pg.72.

Robin, can you tell us more about this?

        another hitler pocket knife

I have one simular, both blades are marked "Rostfrei Solingen" . the larger blade is marked "D.ROOD" on the opposite side. The side with Hitler, only shows him chest up profile. Below it says "REICHSKANZLER ADOLF HITLER".
Other side is ornate with the eagle, swastika, and DEUTSCHLAND erwacht.
Anyone have any ideas wether its fake or not.

          Hi Guys.<O</O
I think this pocket knife is real. It is made of steel, got a silver finish and the big blade is stamped: H & Co SOLINGEN.<O</O
