Old training military knife

Hello,

Can anybody provide any information regarding enclosed "training military knife"?
The "blade" retracts into the handle under the pressure.

It was found several years ago in former German barracks in Wroclaw (Breslau).







The bayonet is only for comparison.

Any info appreciated.

Wehrmacht, or, NVA, (Nationale Volksarmee of the, former, GDR) ? ...

It was German barracks untill 1945 so rather not NVA :-)

I´m asking, because the NVA of the former GDR also used such "knives", also the Bundeswehr used a similar pattern trainings knife.
