    SA RZM dagger E-stand

HEllo, have this item on hold for review. I think it's good, but want to make sure as I don't want to return it. Thanks for any help.

Also any feedback on this seller?

Dagger looks like original and relatively intact RZM SA dagger produced by Tiger Solingen. But I'm worried about dagger grip - he has a little odd fitting with crossguards, even for RZM SA dagger standards.

I see what you mean. So should be more tight fit?

Any other opinions? Maybe it needs a hands on inspection?

I see other RZM's at dealer sites with similar fits.

Someone mentioned that blade is sharpened. I think that might be just the photo.

I don't see the sharpening on the blade.

The grip gap is within tolerable levels for a 1941. Probably some shrinkage, as otherwise the grip seems to fit well within both guards.

Thanks for that and the PM's from others. I will post pics when in hand if I see anything alarming.

I personally prefer the better matching handle and crossguards.

It has arrived. Concern I have is that I was told the condition & patina of dagger match the scabbard finish. This is not the case. The dagger fittings have slight age patina and 20% plate loss, the scabbard is shiny silver with no plating loss. Question is this normal or is this a replacement dagger? The E-stand photos above in post #9, all metals patina look the same to me.

Have to host pics as regular members can't attach them to server.

More condition issues not shown or described in E-stand ad. Dents and hits to lower scabbard metal fittings. Does this do anything to value based on overall used condition?

The blade and grip look better then photos, cross graining and nice etchings.

I think the blade has been sharpened.

Photos of scabbard to cross guard fit in post #10 are off a bit. The scabbard was not in all the way. Can't even get one sheet of paper in the gap.

Happy to say based on all revelations found, seller and I are working something out.

                          Thanks all.
