Nice early dagger! It has the correct nickeled fittings. Most were also group marked, is this? I have one with anodised scabbard, nickeled fittings group marked, and it is a 120/34 in exc.+++ condition. I wish we knew the makers of these 120=121/34 SS daggers

No is no group marked present although most of the early daggers have it. I didn't check if any markings are present inside the cross guards. This dagger has never been taken apart (has never been to taken to pieces) in the past. The nut was a little bit loose when this dagger arrived to me but I tighten it only by my fingers I was even afraid to use the range.

Very nice dagger! I have also a very salty 121 with minty blade.. There are no district number on these boys.. And Never take it apart just to see what markings there are on the crossguards

This dagger is from Mr Wittmann - no need to take it apart.
Could You look at my other post about SS degen? I have a one question....My dachau SS oficer degen has got SS kulturzeichen stamp on upper mount of the scabbard.
